Myself and Cadet were all over the place repping Bear Crew this weekend, but this little guy was definitely our biggest fan.

Hours after running a Half-Marathon

Which makes the spider-pose all the more impressive. Your knees and ankles had to be fatigued.

You have no idea.  But that kid was so enthusiastic, even though it hurt so much to do it, I figured he deserved a good pose.

Actual hero Cadet

This is why I do what I do.
At the recent library event that I helped with (and worked my tail off to get my costume to par) I was really surprised with how many parents…and kids knew who Black Cat was. There were separate lines to get pictures (one for Spidey, one for Star Wars, etc) and I was completely taken aback by how many kids re-joined lines just to get separate pictures with me.
I was really prepared to be a Spidey back-drop. It was cute to see little kids (especially the girls) get so excited that there was a girl character there.
That’s one of my biggest ‘cosplay’ motivations, to be the strong female role model I never really had as a kid. It makes my heart happy that I can provide that at all, for anyone.
*edit* I don’t know how I forgot, but thanks to the Cincinnati library for the photo!

My favorite from the library event.

Why weren’t you guys on their facebook pictures? :c

Might be taking them a while to load up, I know the library had people there just to take pics. Stay tuned!
